About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role delivers products and promotional materials within a designated delivery area and also performs general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, and preparing products. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including the ability to navigate adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Ability to lift and handle cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the stated physical activities, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Far and night vision for driving; near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and other products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to customer addresses, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites, sometimes carrying products up five or more flights of stairs.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Unload bulk product deliveries and move supplies to storage and shelves using a hand truck as needed.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers, take and process orders by phone and in person, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Perform other store tasks, including cleaning, maintenance, and changing prices on signs as needed.
