About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products by car to customers within a designated delivery area, including carrying orders to customer doors and delivering flyers and door hangers. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and must navigate addresses and varied delivery sites, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other locations. The role also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement opportunities, including management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards; the license must have been held continuously for at least one year.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Use of a cell phone and the company app while driving is required.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work independently and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies or deliveries, reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Far and night vision for driving; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for store tasks; ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
• Unload bulk deliveries using a hand truck and move, carry, push, or pull supplies and trays as needed.
• Follow quality-control standards and perform other store team-member duties.
