About The Position

RideNow Powersports McKinney is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join their team. This is a driving position requiring the candidate to be 25 years of age or older. The role involves the safe operation, movement, and organization of powersports vehicles on the lot and requires the ability to transport vehicles with a truck and trailer. The driver must be comfortable handling a wide variety of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and more. Responsibilities include assisting with facility activities such as shipments and deliveries, and making unit deliveries to various retail stores in the Collin County area. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, experience driving a trailer, and be a team player.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license with clean driving record is a must to be considered.
  • Skillful and capable of moving large, heavy motorcycles (some up to 850 pounds fully dressed).
  • Must be 25 years of age or older, for insurance coverage.
  • Ability to drive a truck with a trailer (40 foot gooseneck).
  • Motorcycle endorsement and riding experience.
  • Ability to interact with customers, managers, and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and dedicated.
  • Ability to work a 40-50 hour schedule, including Saturdays.
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently move through the dealership premises—including indoor showrooms, vehicle lots, and service areas—while maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, customer foot traffic, and showroom displays.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years professional driving experience, preferred.
  • CDL strongly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Organize motorcycles, ATVs, side by sides, and watercraft at our facility as needed.
  • Properly complete all pre-delivery checklists.
  • Deliver units to our valued customers and dealerships using a dually truck and 40-foot gooseneck trailer or other truck and trailer depending on the type of shipment.
  • Retrieve parts or equipment orders from offsite as requested.
  • Detail Vehicles as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean and tidy.
  • Safely drive, move, and park motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles on the lot, in the showroom, and in service areas.
  • Assist with vehicle check-in and inspection upon delivery.
  • Keep the lot neat, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Prepare units for customer delivery, including cleaning and fueling.
  • Deliver and pick up units to customers.
  • Support the sales and service teams with unit movement and logistics.
  • Maintain awareness of the lot’s layout and assist in managing inventory flow.
  • Perform general support tasks as needed and assist with other duties as requested.
