About The Position

Soleo Health is seeking a Per Diem Delivery Driver to support our patients in the Woodridge, IL and surrounding areas. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery tasks including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, driving, pick-ups, and deliveries. This role involves making deliveries to patient homes in a timely, safe, and professional manner, as well as making pick-ups of equipment from patient's homes. The position requires the ability to drive up to 100 miles one direction to make deliveries, with mileage reimbursement and an hourly rate of pay provided. The driver must also be available for emergency deliveries as needed.

Requirements

Must have properly registered/insured vehicle to make deliveries
Must have delivery driver experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in area of responsibility
Experience with deliveries to customer job sites preferred
Valid Class D driver’s license
Must own properly registered and insured vehicle to use for deliveries

Nice To Haves

preferred experience with medication deliveries

Responsibilities

Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and transportation of goods
Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
Stack or pile materials
Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
Verify computations against physical count of stock
Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
May drive to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate other machinery in order to complete tasks
Makes deliveries to patient homes in a timely, safe and professional manner
Makes pick-ups of equipment from patient’s home in a timely, safe and professional manner
