About The Position

Soleo Health is seeking a Per Diem Delivery Driver to support our patients in the Woodridge, IL and surrounding areas. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery tasks including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, driving, pick-ups, and deliveries. This role involves completing tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and transportation of goods. The driver will load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage during transport, and verify computations against physical counts. They will maintain the condition of the work area, follow company safety policies, and may drive to pick up or deliver materials. A key part of the role is making timely, safe, and professional deliveries to patient homes and pick-ups of equipment from patient homes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in area of responsibility
  • Experience with deliveries to customer job sites preferred
  • Valid Class D driver’s license
  • Must own properly registered and insured vehicle to use for deliveries
  • Must have properly registered/insured vehicle to make deliveries
  • Must have delivery driver experience
  • Must be able to drive up to 100 miles one direction to make deliveries
  • Must be able to assist with emergency deliveries as needed

  • preferred experience with medication deliveries

Responsibilities

  • Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and transportation of goods
  • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials
  • Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
  • Verify computations against physical count of stock
  • Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
  • Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
  • May drive to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate other machinery in order to complete tasks
  • Makes deliveries to patient homes in a timely, safe and professional manner
  • Makes pick-ups of equipment from patient’s home in a timely, safe and professional manner
