About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Driver to deliver customer orders within the designated delivery area. Drivers need to provide an insured, registered vehicle and meet the company’s driving-history and vehicle-safety standards. In addition to deliveries, drivers periodically help with in-store tasks such as food preparation and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation to prove it.
• Have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
• Meet the stated driving-record standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
• Have a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Have access to a registered, insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries and be listed as an insured driver on its insurance policy.
• Have customer-service and verbal communication skills to communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including stairs and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
• Be able to follow written instructions and perform basic arithmetic accurately, including making correct monetary change.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to meet the role’s physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and occasionally climbing, stooping, or crouching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
• Navigate to addresses using a map and safely negotiate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Periodically assist with in-store tasks, including food preparation and cleaning.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Use a hand truck to unload bulk product deliveries and stock supplies.
