About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift, deliver flyers and door hangers, and carry pizzas and beverages between the store, vehicle, and customer locations. The role also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. Work may involve driving and delivering in varying or adverse weather, navigating stairs and other delivery-site terrain, and completing physical tasks in the store.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise, rapid movements and use store equipment.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, reaching, and climbing.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigation skills, including through multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
