About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also covers general hourly store team-member duties, including operating equipment; stocking ingredients and supplies; preparing products; using company technology; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; cleaning equipment and the facility; and training on new products. Drivers carry orders to customers while walking and climbing, and use the Driver app and other Domino’s technology. The work involves frequent standing and hand use, repetitive tasks, exposure to hot and cold temperatures and other kitchen hazards, and lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Use the Driver app and Domino’s technology implemented by the company.
• Be able to perform the described physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, and occasional stair or ladder navigation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, making several deliveries per shift as needed.
• Operate store equipment and use Domino’s technology, including the Driver app and Car Side Delivery.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Provide on-the-job training for new products.
• Carry food and beverages to customers, including navigating stairs when needed.
