About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery work, team members may perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Drivers deliver pizzas by car to customers’ doors and may also distribute flyers and door hangers. The position involves working in a store with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery work includes exposure to changing or adverse weather and may require walking and climbing stairs while carrying orders. The job also involves frequent standing, reaching, repetitive hand use, and other physical tasks, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Must be able to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Must have the coordination and manual dexterity to make precise movements and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing; delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry orders while walking and climbing as needed during deliveries.
