About The Position

Domino’s is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver orders within the designated delivery area and help with in-store tasks such as food preparation and cleaning. Drivers must provide and use their own insured, registered vehicle that meets safety standards. The role requires customer service, order-taking, navigation, and the ability to work in varied conditions, including adverse weather and delivery locations with stairs or difficult terrain. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The advertised pay is $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. The position offers potential opportunities for advancement into customer service, management, corporate operations, or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation available.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
Must meet the stated driving-record standards: limits on violations and at-fault accidents, no distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years, and no serious violations in the past five years.
Must have access to a vehicle that is registered, insured, meets safety standards, and is covered by an insurance policy listing the driver.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, understand and give written instructions, and process orders by telephone and in person.
Must have basic arithmetic and money-handling skills, including making correct change.
Must have the coordination and ability to use a computer keyboard or touchscreen, navigate delivery locations, and carry products while navigating stairs or other terrain.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays; this is mandatory.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing or squatting.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Read maps, locate delivery addresses, and navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other in-store tasks.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage areas, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Meet required delivery vehicle safety standards and participate in periodic vehicle inspections.
Be available to work weekends and holidays.
