About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and also helps with in-store tasks. Domino’s provides training for deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store activities. The role offers opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and potentially advance within the company. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, proof of car insurance, and a safe driving record that meets company standards.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.

• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
• Ability to lift and handle supplies, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds and measuring up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
• Ability to carry items including cans weighing 3 pounds 7 ounces, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds, and pizza dough trays weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
• Ability to push or pull trays on dollies, with a stack of trays requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force to push.
• Ability to occasionally crouch or squat, and to bend and reach as required by store tasks.
• Ability to use hands continuously and perform frequent, sometimes forceful, hand and forearm movements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; drivers may make several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Assist with in-store tasks and work with customers and co-workers.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
• Occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, and performing maintenance.
