About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other customers. Drivers build relationships with customers while completing local routes and are home every day. The position involves unloading cases weighing up to 100 pounds and using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout the shift. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 5 a.m. and continuing until the route is finished. Drivers receive daily base pay plus component pay for each mile driven, stop made, and case delivered. Drivers average $84,000–$90,000 per year, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,250 per week.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Class A CDL license at hire.
Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Successfully pass a drug test, including testing for marijuana, and a background check.
Clean driving record meeting DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
Registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to provide electronic consent.
