About The Position

Wilderness Resort is seeking a hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service-driven Delivery Driver to deliver pizzas through the resort properties and the city in a timely manner. The role involves receiving and verifying orders, packaging and loading food, navigating delivery routes safely, interacting with customers, maintaining food quality during transport, communicating with restaurant staff, and assisting with light restaurant tasks. This is a part- or full-time position requiring night and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Pick up orders from the kitchen or POS system and verify their accuracy and completeness, including special requests.
Check food quality to ensure it is properly cooked and packaged.
Package food securely and organize orders in the vehicle for delivery.
Plan efficient routes while considering traffic and road conditions; use GPS for accurate navigation.
Follow traffic laws and make safe, timely deliveries.
Greet customers politely, confirm orders, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Handle payments and provide receipts as needed.
Use insulated bags to maintain food temperature and deliver orders within the promised timeframe.
Report delays caused by traffic or vehicle issues and update restaurant staff on deliveries.
Pick up new orders and communicate with the restaurant.
Handle complaints professionally and notify the restaurant so issues can be resolved.
Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
Assist with light restaurant tasks such as restocking or organizing delivery bags.
