Delivery Driver (Professional In-home) / Warehouse Associate
About The Position
As a Delivery Driver with Room & Board, you will create extraordinary experiences for customers and act as a brand ambassador. This role is for a confident, career-minded professional who thrives on variety and enjoys interacting with customers. You will balance local deliveries with indoor warehouse contributions. Your commitment to exceptional service will enhance the customer experience. You will be part of a 42-person team and, as a member of a 3-person delivery team, you will rotate between delivery and warehouse responsibilities. In the delivery role, you will alternate between driving and assisting, delivering home furnishings throughout the LA metro and Orange County areas. Every two months, you will spend about a month in the merchandise quality role, preparing products to ensure they meet high standards before reaching customers. Additional warehouse responsibilities include product staging, assembly, and quality inspections. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive a 24-foot box truck (training provided).
- Able to lift/carry heavy items with the assistance of a team member and/or proper lifting equipment.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Able to pass pre-employment requirements, including a 5-panel drug screen (no THC).
- Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire.
