About The Position

Our distribution facility in Springfield, MO has an immediate need for a Warehouse Driver/Warehouse Associate. This is an Immediate Opening. Start as soon as next week. The Warehouse Driver must have six months+ of delivery driving and warehouse experience with an excellent driving record. Proper licensing is preferred. This is a great opportunity in a growing company that has been family-owned for over 58 years. Requirements

  • Six months+ of delivery driving experience.
  • Six months+ of warehouse experience.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Proper licensing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers.
  • Manually loading and unloading the delivery truck.
  • Verifying that all parts are loaded and unloaded.
  • Obtaining signatures from receiving locations.
  • Confirming accuracy of the product received.
  • Delivering returned items back to the warehouse.
  • Driving a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
  • Physically loading the Company truck at the branch and verifying the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.
  • Driving to the delivery destination, confirming orders with customer, unloading and verifying the product, and obtaining confirmation signature.
  • Making the proper notations on the manifest and providing receipts on parts being returned from customers.
  • Picking up purchase orders.
  • Performing duties of a Warehouse Associate in the Cranston, RI location when not driving.
  • Complying with established Company policies and procedures.
  • Assuming other duties as assigned.
  • Being Subject to DOT Procedures - driver logs, unexpired medical card , etc.
  • Loading and unloading trucks in an accurate, safe, and timely manner.
  • Receiving and Sorting items according to protocol.
  • Packing and Shipping items according to protocol.
  • Maintaining inventory controls.
  • Counting physical inventory.
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • Wearing the proper safety equipment.
  • Following OSHA protocol.
  • Properly using hand trucks, 4-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
