About The Position

Aaron’s Delivery Driver Assistants support the delivery and installation of merchandise in customers’ homes. Working with the Delivery Driver, they move and pick up merchandise, install products, and demonstrate how to use them. The role also involves working inside and outside the store, assisting with daily store operations, and connecting with customers in the community. The pay range is $18.75 to $19.75 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Solid communication skills.
• Working knowledge of electronics.
• Desire to make a positive difference for customers.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Nice To Haves

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products.
• Unload and install merchandise, and demonstrate how customers can use it.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Move and pick up merchandise in customers’ homes while working with the Delivery Driver.
• Support day-to-day store operations and connect with customers in the community.
• Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
