About The Position

Aaron’s Delivery Drivers help ensure positive customer experiences in a fast-paced, store-based role. The position involves driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, demonstrating product use, supporting day-to-day store operations, and connecting with customers in the community. Drivers spend time both inside and outside the store.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including maintaining a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to be DOT certified, if required at the position’s location in the United States.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.
• Solid communication skills.
• Working knowledge of electronics.

Nice To Haves

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
• Provide positive customer experiences and make a positive difference for customers.
