About The Position

The Deli Worker greets and serves guests, prepares food, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of the position. Requirements

Some high school education or equivalent.
No previous experience required.
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
Ability to bend, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and prepare their orders in a cheerful and helpful manner.
Understand menu items and explain them accurately to guests.
Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
Check products in the unit area and restock items to maintain sufficient supplies throughout the shift.
Follow food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and cleanup.
Clean and maintain all restaurant areas.
Follow the 3-step method for cleaning.
Follow all quality standards, formulas, and procedures.
Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
Work in any area of the restaurant when needed.
