About The Position

The Deli Lead helps lead team members and supports day-to-day convenience store operations by performing, assisting with, and guiding operational tasks. This role is a vital member of the organization, helping ensure a positive customer experience and a great work environment for team members. The successful candidate is self-motivated and service-oriented, and demonstrates Northdale’s culture of exceptional customer service and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
• Resolve cash tills at the end of the shift.
• Generate accurate till reports for each register.
• Ensure all food is prepared and quality is maintained.
• Manage and perform all check-out functions daily.
• Communicate clearly and openly with customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service associates and customers when the Assistant Manager and Store Manager are not present.
• Assist in performing, implementing, and enforcing established daily operating procedures.
