About The Position

Picasso Restaurant Group is hiring an experienced, dependable, and motivated Deli Lead for McKinley Café on the University of Michigan–Dearborn campus. The role involves leading daily deli operations in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining food quality and presentation and providing excellent customer service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, though hours may vary. Pay is $19–$21 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous deli, café, or food service experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and a positive team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations and ensure smooth service.
• Prepare fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other deli items.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Assist with food preparation, stocking, and inventory.
• Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Help train, support, and motivate team members.
• Assist management with daily operations as needed.
