About The Position

The Deli Clerk Opener is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. This role performs retail tasks related to products, customer service, and merchandising in Meijer’s Fresh departments. The clerk helps maintain a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience by assisting customers, maintaining displays, stocking and rotating merchandise, and following food safety and quality procedures. The position may involve working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, along with other tasks that support store operations.
