About The Position

We are seeking a responsible and dependable individual to work as a part-time Cashier and Deli Opener. This role supports smooth daily operations, provides excellent customer service, and helps maintain a welcoming environment in a fast-paced retail setting. The associate opens the store and deli, prepares and serves deli items, handles transactions, and maintains cleanliness and organization. The position requires availability to arrive at 5 a.m. to open, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. Requirements

Able to arrive at 5 a.m. to open.
Able to lift over 20 pounds.
Able to clean and empty trash.
Able to learn how to cook.
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or deli operations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Open the store and deli area at the beginning of each shift and ensure equipment and supplies are ready for operation.
Greet customers, assist with purchases, and accurately handle register transactions.
Prepare and serve deli items according to company standards while maintaining cleanliness and quality.
Keep the checkout area and deli station clean and organized.
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
Restock shelves, deli items, and supplies as needed.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Clean and empty trash.
