About The Position

The Deli Clerk delivers remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role includes a variety of retail tasks related to products, customer service, and merchandising, and supports a fresh, welcoming, well-run store experience. Clerks build connections with customers and teammates, help customers find products, maintain appealing displays, stock and rotate merchandise, and follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures. The position may involve working across Fresh departments, including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, and supporting other tasks as needed.
