This role involves promoting excellent customer relations, managing department inventories, scheduling associates, developing merchandising plans, and ensuring food safety and sanitation. The manager also oversees bakery operations including decorating cakes and preparing various food items, and may be responsible for cash register operations. The position requires adherence to company recipes, safety policies, and health/OSHA requirements. The manager supervises associates within the department and may assume leadership in the absence of store management.
