About The Position

CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Defense Travel Administrator to support the Office of Military Commissions. Responsibilities may include performing the following but are not limited to: Creating and updating user profiles in the Defense Travel System (DTS). Creating, reviewing, and amending travel authorizations. Preparing travel voucher form 1351-2 for traveler’s signature. Preparing cross organization letter to allow travelers to use OMC line of accounting while attached to their parent command. Detaching and receiving DTS profiles for outgoing and incoming command members. Ensuring the timely submission and execution of travel documents for each traveler post official travel.

Requirements

  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Working knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • 2 - 4 years of professional government working experience.
  • Must live locally to the National Capital Region/Washington D.C.
  • Ability to use or learn SharePoint.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1 year travel administrator experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
