About The Position

The Deep Cleaner maintains cleanliness across restrooms, the casino gaming floor, and back-of-house areas, using floor-care equipment and cleaning processes, procedures, and chemicals. The role provides excellent customer service to employees and vendors and supports a positive, welcoming environment for guests and coworkers. Duties must comply with Horseshoe Indianapolis policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations. This position does not involve any function related to casino gambling by patrons.

Requirements

• Cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent may be required.
• Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission (IHRC) license.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps, and sitting.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a highly populated, fast-paced, noisy environment.
• Requires access to the gaming floor.
• Must be able to work in a smoking establishment.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces in restrooms, on the casino gaming floor, and in back-of-house areas.
• Use floor-care equipment to maintain flooring.
