About The Position

This full-time, onsite position in Bismarck, North Dakota, manages one or more dedicated contract transportation accounts to meet customer service expectations and achieve operational and key performance goals. The manager monitors key performance metrics, analyzes operational variables, and implements solutions to improve account performance. The role also develops and maintains a positive workplace culture that supports the company's guiding principles.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; 3–5 years of transportation leadership experience may substitute for a degree.
3–5 years of transportation experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management, and logistics solutions.
Broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
Experience conducting business using multiple software systems and processes.
Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and routing or dispatching systems.

Maintain frequent communication with all team members.
Use onsite team members to identify operational improvements.
Collaborate with other teams to share and learn best practices and leverage resources.
Use Ruan transportation management systems properly to ensure required operational data is accurately captured in near real time.
