About The Position

This position is with EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, and is based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Dedicated Operations Supervisor manages the day-to-day operation of assigned dedicated accounts, ensuring that safety, customer, and driver goals are met or exceeded. The role drives profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth.

The position is onsite, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability based on business needs. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Travel may be required as necessary.

Requirements

• Two years of relevant transportation operations experience in a fast-paced environment; this experience may be waived for applicable internal experience, such as administrative experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Intermediate dispatch skills.
• Intermediate geography knowledge.
• Basic understanding of finance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and work the required schedule and at the specified location.
• Completion of the Penske employment application and submission to a background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule customer shipments to align with service requirements and serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll submission in compliance with company standards.
• Manage billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and work with customers to resolve discrepancies.
• Engage with drivers to address daily operational concerns and escalate issues as necessary to maintain service quality.
• Partner with PTL to ensure equipment receives timely preventative maintenance and necessary repairs.
• Implement and oversee company safety programs, including Smart Drive, High Risk Driver Reporting, and driver coaching initiatives.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned.
