Drivers typically complete two trips per day, with backhauls returning to distribution centers. The position averages approximately 1,175 miles per week, with average weekly pay of $1,745 and average annual earnings of $90,760. Top weekly pay is $2,260 and top annual earnings are $117,525. Drivers use new, well-maintained sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions and haul both dry van and refrigerated trailers. The fleet operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Drivers generally work within a 70-hour workweek and are home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT medical card.
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
