About The Position

Drive for a dedicated regional retail account serving Dollar Tree from the Joliet, Illinois account location. The role averages approximately 970 miles per week, with three turns per week and three to five stops per load. Deliveries cover Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. This is a touch-freight position involving unloading dry freight using rollers. Drivers average $1,850 per week ($93,600 annually), with top weekly pay of $2,000 and top annual pay of $104,000. Compensation includes mileage pay, unload pay, and backhaul pay. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on driver location. The fleet uses automatic sleeper trucks and 53-foot dry van trailers. Drivers may take trucks home if they have a safe and secure parking location.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Comfort unloading freight with rollers and performing physical touch-freight work.
Flexibility with the schedule and weekly reset days.
Clean driving record.
DOT Medical Card.
Drivers with SAP are not accepted.
