About The Position
Full-time W-2 company driver position serving a dedicated round-trip lane from Lakewood, NY, to Chillicothe, OH, and back. The driver transports auto parts, with freight preloaded in New York and empty racks or paid loads returning home. The schedule consists of four 642-mile round trips per week, averaging 2,568 miles weekly. Drivers are home weekly. Base mileage pay is $0.70 per mile, with estimated average gross pay of approximately $1,798 per week ($93,500 or more per year). A quarterly performance bonus adds $0.05 per paid mile when the driver reaches 27,000 miles in a quarter, estimated at approximately $1,350 every three months.
Requirements
- Active Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- At least 6 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
- Residence in or around Lakewood, NY.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Drive the dedicated round-trip route between Lakewood, NY, and Chillicothe, OH, four times per week.
- Transport auto parts, with freight preloaded in New York.
- Return with empty racks or paid loads back to the home area.
- Maintain the route schedule and meet the quarterly mileage threshold to qualify for the performance bonus.
