About The Position

Great American Transport is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated automotive parts account. This solo driving position pays $0.70 per mile, with drivers averaging approximately 2,500 miles per week and average earnings of $1,750. Drivers haul automotive components and return racks as part of an established transportation operation. Drivers depart from the company yard in Laredo, Texas, and deliver to locations in Illinois, Tennessee, and Mississippi. The role combines dedicated lanes with occasional floating assignments. Depending on the load, drivers may handle drop-and-hook or live loading and unloading. Weekend driving is required, and drivers are expected to make full use of their available 70-hour workweek. A 34-hour restart is scheduled every week. Applicants must live within 50 miles of one of the listed hiring areas: Irving, Waco, Laredo, San Antonio, or Austin, Texas.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Live within 50 miles of one of the eligible hiring areas: Irving, Waco, Laredo, San Antonio, or Austin, Texas.
Be comfortable with multistate routes.
Be willing to drive over weekends.
Be prepared to use available driving hours efficiently.
Be comfortable with drop-and-hook and live loading and unloading.
