About The Position

River Rock Casino Resort is offering a Dealer Training Program for individuals with strong personality and people skills to build an exciting career in Table Games. This program provides hands-on training, personalized coaching, and real-world practice to develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed on the gaming floor. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Blackjack, game procedures, table management, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fun and fast-paced environment. No prior dealing experience is required; the company seeks positive, energetic individuals with strong attention to detail, a passion for customer service, and the willingness to learn.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year’s customer service experience
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and overnights
Serving It Right certification
Ability to obtain a Gaming License

Responsibilities

Learns and applies correct dealing procedures as taught in the training program.
Maintains table security by protecting the integrity of the game, chips, and float.
Controls order of play by managing betting, closing wagers, and following game rules.
Refers irregularities, guest concerns, or suspicious activity to the Manager.
Verifies chip transactions, including refills, credits, and table chip movements.
Maintains workstation cleanliness by keeping the table and pit area tidy and organized.
Collaborates with operational departments to support smooth table operations.
Engages guests professionally to enhance their gaming experience.
Ensures regulatory compliance by following licensing laws, health and safety standards, and all statutory regulations.
