About The Position

Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls is hiring an on-call, part-time Dealer Trade Driver. The position pays $16.00 per hour and has no guaranteed hours. The driver transports vehicles involved in dealer trades and checks that the vehicles and accompanying paperwork and items are accurate and complete. Newly traded vehicles must be inspected inside and out before delivery is accepted. The role requires the ability to tow a flat bed trailer using a company-provided truck and trailer.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license in their state of residence, and an acceptable driving record. The workplace is drug-free. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to tow a flat bed trailer using a company-provided truck and trailer.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to type efficiently and enter accurate information into a tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Verify that each vehicle identification number and stock number match the paperwork.
• Ensure a copy of the dealer invoice accompanies the paperwork for each vehicle.
• Ensure vehicles being traded are clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
• Immediately notify the GSM or manager on duty if damage is found on a vehicle being traded.
• Ensure all reference guides, keys, wheel locks, and other items accompany traded vehicles, and deliver this information to the appropriate manager when the trade is complete.
• Thoroughly inspect newly traded vehicles, inside and out, before accepting delivery from the dealership.
