About The Position

Hyundai of New Port Richey is hiring a part-time Dealer Trade Driver to safely transport vehicles between dealerships and to customers. The role involves working independently on the road while supporting a professional automotive experience for customers and employees. Drivers ensure vehicles and related documentation are ready for transport, inspect vehicles before departure, and help ensure each arrives safely and in the same condition in which it was received. The position requires a high school graduate or equivalent and applicants must be at least 18 years old. The workplace is drug-free. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate a variety of cars, light trucks, and vans.
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Reliable, professional, and accountable approach to work.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented attitude and professional appearance.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Safely transport vehicles between dealerships and to customers in a timely, professional manner.
Verify vehicle identification numbers (VINs), stock numbers, and paperwork before departure.
Ensure required documents, keys, reference guides, wheel locks, and other vehicle items accompany each vehicle.
Inspect vehicles before transport to ensure they are clean and free of visible damage.
Communicate professionally with dealership team members and customers throughout the trade process.
Help ensure each vehicle arrives safely and in the same condition in which it was received.
