About The Position

Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls is hiring an on-call, part-time Dealer Trade Driver at $16.00 per hour, with no guaranteed hours. The driver transports dealer-trade vehicles and verifies that each vehicle and its paperwork, accessories, and condition are properly checked and documented. The position requires towing a flat bed trailer using a company-provided truck and trailer. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license in their state of residence, and an acceptable driving record. The role also calls for attention to detail, urgency, communication skills, and efficient typing to enter accurate information into a tracking system. The workplace is drug-free, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license in the applicant’s state of residence.
Acceptable driving record.
Able to tow a flat bed trailer using a company-provided truck and trailer.
Strong attention to detail.
Sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to type efficiently and enter accurate information into a tracking system.

Responsibilities

Verify that each vehicle’s identification number and stock number match the paperwork.
Ensure a copy of the dealer invoice accompanies the paperwork for each vehicle.
Check that vehicles being traded are clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
Immediately notify the GSM or manager on duty if damage is found on a vehicle being traded.
Ensure reference guides, keys, wheel locks, and other items accompany traded vehicles, and deliver this information to the appropriate manager when the trade is complete.
Thoroughly inspect newly traded vehicles inside and out before accepting delivery from the dealership.
