About The Position

Table Games Dealer at Caesars New Orleans is responsible for dealing assigned table games in accordance with company policies, gaming regulations, and departmental procedures while maintaining the highest standards of guest service. This role ensures game integrity, accurately tracks player activity, observes game play, and promotes a professional, friendly, and engaging gaming experience. Table Games Dealers are expected to create a welcoming environment for guests while contributing to the overall success of the casino floor through exceptional service and operational excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test, and pass a Caesars audition displaying adequate gaming skills.
• Must proficiently deal a minimum of one major game, and have one year of previous dealing experience.
• Excellent employee and guest service skills are essential.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, including in and around assigned Pit area during entire shift.
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as necessary.
• Must be able to stand for 2-3 hour increments.
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests’ demands in a fast pace environment.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
• Must be able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area.
• Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
• Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money.
• Must accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect the games.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
