About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a DDI Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The DDI Engineer will be responsible for providing network operations support for DHCP/DNS/IP address management infrastructure. The scope of this role includes service management, incident management, and change management, such as adding, modifying, or deleting DDI configurations. This position provides 24x7 support for production systems and will require some off-hours and weekend work.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Network Operations Service Delivery
Subject matter expertise in DDI requests (Vital QIP and Bluecat)
Hands-on experience with Bluecat, Vital QIP, and DNS tools
Knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Load balancing, IPS, and basic routing/switching
Excellent understanding of TCP/IP and packet analysis
Knowledge of authentication protocols such as DNS, DHCP, Subnetting, LDAP, IWA, IWA-direct, SSO, and Active Directory
Experience with Remedy ITSM (Service Request/Work Order/Change/Incident Management)
Graduate degree (any stream), BE, B Tech, MCSE, or CCNA
ITIL Foundation Qualified (Certified Preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bluecat Certification
Knowledge of tools like Remedy, Putty, or Windows PowerShell
Strong networking knowledge

Responsibilities

Manage service request fulfillment, including analysis of incoming requests to understand business and technical needs, prioritizing dates, and executing required changes
Collaborate with internal and external teams, such as Network Operations, Engineering, and Architecture, on core configuration design requirements and impact assessment
Perform validation testing and pre-work in non-production environments to ensure successful implementation
Identify solutions, design plans, and prepare required documentation while adhering to company processes
Act as an escalation point for unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests
Manage the change process through the entire change management lifecycle
