About The Position
This position provides program direction and management of the Developmental Disabilities Program at Kent County Health Department. The role involves assigning caseloads, formulating program policies, conducting staff training and monitoring, tracking fiscal receivables and Quality Assurance data, and gathering feedback from clients and community stakeholders. This position receives managerial direction from the Health Officer.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services field; OR An Associate's degree with two (2) years experience in a Human Services field; OR Seven (7) years experience in a Human Services field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including familiarity with person-centered planning, behavior support and daily living support.
- Experience/knowledge of state regulations related to developmental disabilities services.
