DC Receiver (Illinois)
About The Position
The DC Receiver ensures timely and accurate receipt of products arriving at the distribution center and is responsible for bills of lading and itemized shipping documentation. The role involves inspecting and counting incoming products, processing receipts in distribution center operating systems, moving products with powered industrial equipment, following vendor compliance processes, and communicating with drivers after trailers are unloaded. The receiver may also rework problem freight and must help meet daily, weekly, and monthly quality and production KPI goals. The position requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, customer service, teamwork, and Rural King's values. The receiver follows safety regulations, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and may be required to cross-train and perform other duties. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and may involve working near private offices, where confidentiality must be maintained. Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of products at the distribution center.
- Complete bills of lading and itemized shipping documentation.
- Inspect and count products received in the warehouse accurately.
- Use operating systems affiliated with RK distribution center operations, such as ATK and Latitude.
- Move products to and from locations using powered industrial equipment after receipt is complete and processed.
- Understand and follow vendor compliance processes.
- Communicate with drivers after trailers are unloaded.
- Rework problem freight.
- Meet quality and production KPI goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support, addressing inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
- Participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars.

- Cross-train and perform other duties as required.
