About The Position
A spotter moves trailers and containers within a warehouse yard, distribution center, or large industrial facility, ensuring goods move efficiently and safely to and from loading docks and storage areas. At Rural King, the role involves moving trailers and containers with a spotter truck around the warehouse, completing required daily paperwork, properly scaling trailers, and supporting compliance with equipment and grounds requirements at the Distribution Center. The spotter helps meet quality and production goals while following safety regulations and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role may also include cross-training and other assigned duties. Associates are expected to provide friendly, professional support to internal and external customers; demonstrate Rural King’s values; participate in learning initiatives; and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace. The position may involve working around private offices, where confidentiality must be maintained. Requirements
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Previous experience with powered industrial equipment.
- Proficient with, or able to quickly learn, latitude systems.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
