About The Position

Airgas is hiring a DC Administrative Coordinator in Duluth, GA. This role provides full administrative and clerical support for the Duluth Distribution Center, supporting the DC management team and operations. Responsibilities include generating reports, data entry, vendor invoice preparation, correspondence, understanding operational procedures, assisting with safety management, maintaining documentation, aiding in training and onboarding, ad hoc reporting, and event planning.

Requirements

  • Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extremely detail oriented and able to focus on details.
  • Able to manage strict deadlines, function with little managerial direction, and be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Able to multitask and take direction from multiple sources.
  • Excellent PC skills and proficient in all MS Office, Google Suites, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills; competency for understanding metrics and ability to present and communicate to management.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to influence without having direct authority.
  • Ability to work well across departmental lines and with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, spell and understand the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing/Distribution experience desirable.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative and clerical support for the Duluth Distribution Center.
  • Execute various administrative tasks related to supporting the DC management team and DC operations.
  • Generate reports and perform data entry using MS Office and Google Suites.
  • Prepare vendor invoice packages for approval and batch submission.
  • Handle correspondence with vendors.
  • Review and understand Standard Operating Procedure Manuals, Safety Management System, SAP processes, and learning tools.
  • Assist in the execution of the Safety Management System.
  • Organize, maintain, and achieve all distribution center documentation both paper and electronically using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Assist in associate training programs and new hire onboarding.
  • Assist in ad hoc reporting as needed by the Operations team.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute social events.
