About The Position

Valley Corral, LLC dba Golden Corral is seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join its team as a Daytime Cashier. The role helps shape guests’ experiences when they enter and leave the restaurant, with the goal of making lasting, positive impressions that encourage them to return. The Cashier / Host provides guest service, processes payments and To-Go orders, maintains cleanliness, and supports operational standards. This opening is posted by an independent Golden Corral franchisee, which makes all hiring decisions for this location.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they enter and offer a sincere, personal invitation to return as they leave.
Offer assistance to guests who may need help.
Process GC On the Go To-Go orders.
Answer the phone in a friendly and courteous manner.
Handle payments accurately.
Know and follow position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery.
Know the daily buffet offerings and have full knowledge of the menu and prices.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas.
May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct; clean all buffets and surrounding areas.
Follow local health department laws.
Perform the duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
Inform the Manager when money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce robbery risk.
Ensure the drawer balances with daily paperwork.
