About The Position

Valley Corral, LLC, doing business as Golden Corral, is seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier / Host to help create positive guest experiences when guests enter and leave the restaurant. The role welcomes guests, supports their needs, processes payments and to-go orders, and helps maintain cleanliness and service standards. The position is posted by an independently owned franchisee, which makes all hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they enter and offer a sincere, personal invitation to return as they leave.
Assist guests who need help and communicate with guests courteously by phone.
Process GC On the Go To-Go orders and handle payments accurately.
Follow position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery.
Know the day's buffet offerings and have full knowledge of the menu and prices.
Maintain organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas.
Help ensure the buffet is properly set up and labels are correct.
Clean buffets and surrounding areas.
Follow local health department laws.
Complete the duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
Inform the Manager when cash in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce robbery risk.
Ensure the cash drawer balances with daily paperwork.
