About The Position

Housekeeping Aides help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the childcare center, supporting a safe environment where children can learn and grow. The role includes keeping the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly; performing janitorial tasks; cleaning school equipment and furnishings; maintaining restrooms and dispensers; and assisting with seasonal decorations and displays.

Requirements

• Be comfortable working around children.
• Be willing to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Meet state education requirements and the center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and cleaning restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
