About The Position
Are you an experienced custodian looking for a long-term part-time afternoon job in North York, Toronto? This position offers a flexible schedule of 3 days a week, with 3-4 hours per day, totaling 9-12 hours per week. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, with bi-weekly pay and a direct deposit option.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a janitor (1-3 years)
- Lead custodian must have 2 or more years’ experience as a janitorial team lead/supervisor
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Trainable and good communicator
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable mode of transportation (personal vehicle, public transit) -No Uber, Lyft, etc.
- Complete online application

- Valid Work Permit/Legal Status
Responsibilities
- Pulling trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning restrooms
- Stock and maintain supply room
- Ability to work with and around others efficiently
- Follow all health and safety regulations
