About The Position

This role involves training and supervising staff in the implementation of treatment plans and goals within a Day Habilitation program. The position requires ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of individuals, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to company values and policies. The Staff Trainer will also be responsible for completing required orientation, maintaining certifications, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to run.
  • Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others and individuals served.
  • Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).

Responsibilities

  • Complete required QSAC orientation.
  • Ensure health, safety & welfare of individuals.
  • Implement and train others on treatment plans and goals.
  • Model appropriate techniques related to the implementation of treatment plans and goals.
  • Maintain all required certifications.
  • Supervise Group Leaders and Habilitation Specialists in the implementation of treatment plans and goals.
  • Maintain individual/family confidentiality.
  • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
  • Attendance and punctuality is essential.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
