About The Position

Medical Imaging Associates (MIA) is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist for an onsite position in Idaho Falls or Pocatello, Idaho. The physician will join an established, physician-led practice and focus on a high-quality breast imaging case mix in a collaborative, subspecialty-supported environment. The practice provides comprehensive breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and image-guided procedures using stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI guidance. The workload includes a balanced mix of screening and diagnostic breast imaging, supported by experienced technologists and clinical staff. Partnership-track positions are approximately 60–70% mammography; employed non-partnership positions focus 100% on mammography. There may be optional opportunities to support regional community hospitals with screening and diagnostic breast imaging. The position is employed, with a competitive base salary and productivity-based bonus using a radiology-specific workload model similar to RVUs. A two-year path to partnership is available. Qualified radiologists in a full-time, onsite employed position may be eligible for an enhanced commencement bonus of up to $200,000, subject to additional eligibility requirements and terms. Sign-on bonus and financial relocation assistance are also noted. MIA is a physician-led regional radiology practice and an affiliate of Radiology Partners, serving Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah. Its group includes more than 30 radiologists and advanced practice providers and provides diagnostic and interventional radiology services in hospital and outpatient settings. The practice offers regional PACS collaboration, local clinical autonomy, experienced clinical and administrative support, a Just Culture QA program, and a collegial, physician-driven culture. The role is based in Idaho Falls or Pocatello. Both communities are described as having lower costs of living, short commute times, and access to outdoor recreation.
