About The Position

The Data Reporting Analyst supports client integration for Personal Choice Investment Services (PCIS) within Workplace Services at Schwab. PCIS provides Personal Choice Retirement Accounts and Health Savings Brokerage Accounts, and the Digital Product Management team onboards new clients onto Schwab’s Brokerage platform while providing data analytics and production support. The role works across business and technology teams to support internal and external clients, analyze data and trends, monitor file transmissions and system interfaces, document requirements and processes, and assist with testing and production releases. The selected candidate is expected to work onsite four days per week in one of the specified locations and must be authorized to work in the United States full-time without current or future employer sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process analysis, root-cause analysis, and translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and test scenarios.
At least 3 years of experience monitoring file transmissions, interfaces, batch processes, or system-to-system data exchanges, including investigating and resolving processing issues.
At least 2 years of experience in an Agile environment, familiarity with Agile ceremonies, and JIRA or Rally project management tool experience; experience supporting testing, production releases, incident investigation, and release validation.
At least 3 years of data analytics, business intelligence, or data management experience, including extracting, cleansing, validating, reconciling, and analyzing data to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
Ability to learn complex systems, think logically, solve problems, and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively across business, technology, operations, and external partners.
Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of broker-dealer trading systems experience, with knowledge of brokerage and trading processes, systems, workflows, and data.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and relational databases, including complex analysis, data modeling, dashboards, KPI reporting, and visualization.
At least 2 years of experience with Python, R, Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, or comparable analytics and data platforms.

Responsibilities

Partner with clients, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders in a client-facing capacity.
Facilitate meetings, requirements discussions, and presentations; communicate needs, risks, issues, status, and recommendations.
Create and maintain business and technical documentation, including requirements, process flows, procedures, test artifacts, and production support materials.
Support Agile work, including requirements, backlog refinement, sprints, testing, demonstrations, and release readiness.
Monitor file transmissions and system interfaces, investigate data or processing issues, and coordinate resolution across teams.
Support functional, integration, and regression testing, production releases, and production validation while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources for analysis, reconciliation, investigation, and reporting.
Translate business questions into data requirements, analytical approaches, metrics, and actionable insights.
Explain complex data and findings to Product, Strategy, Operations, and senior business leaders.
Use Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools for analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
