About The Position
US Path Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our busy lab operations. This role is key to ensuring our operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Requirements
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills required.
- Outstanding attention to detail and focus on quality control.
- Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Nice To Haves
- Dermatopathology or anatomic pathology experience is highly preferred.
- Medical Terminology is a plus.
- Degrees in Biologic Science a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing specimens based on a set of criteria.
- Entering patient information on a specimen-by-specimen basis.
- Identifying discrepancies and errors, taking corrective actions, and communicating to the appropriate party for corrections.
- Managing daily workload and assisting the processing supervisor in delegating excess workloads.
- Any additional duties will be delegated by management.
